The VX-BB6 Black and Burst generator is a stand-alone, low-cost source of black and burst colour video, to reference S-VHS, Hi-8 and offline editing suites in situations where genlock operation or guaranteed Sc-H phase relationship is not necessary. Mains powered, it is housed in a small desktop enclosure and provides 6 black & burst outputs on 75 Ohm BNCs. Subcarrier frequency is crystal controlled and is locked to syncs within the capture window of the oscillator (which can be adjusted), after which it free-runs.
