TPS-100 High Grade Broadcast PAL > SECAM Transcoder

The TPS-100 transcoder is a high grade broadcast PAL to SECAM composite / YC video converter designed for the television studio. Accepting either a looping PAL input or YC input, and a SECAM H/2 or black-burst genlock reference signal, the TPS-100 employs a precision subcarrier filter with patent overshoot suppression to give exceptionally clean PAL decoding with some 40dB of subcarrier rejection and little cross-colour.
 

The broadcast SECAM encoder produces 3 outputs of either SECAM IIIB or H/2, depending on the reference input. An automatic bypass feeds the input directly to the output if the input standard is SECAM, if the incoming subcarrier is too low, or if the mains power fails. The transcoder is not affected by test lines or videotext. Adjustment is simple and stability excellent.

Housed in a 1U high rackframe or available as Eurocard modules for installation in a 3U frame, the TPS-100 is optionally available with colour bars generator and YUV component output
