| Q-Channel Quad Split - Digital
Features:
Designed to be a low cost, versatile solution for display and conversion applications, the Q-Channel/D proves invaluable in situations where large numbers of monitors are impractical e.g. in OB vehicles or control rooms. The unit accepts four independent synchronous or asynchronous component SDI inputs allowing each to be displayed in full screen mode, or to be combined into a monitor-saving, easy-view, quad display. Analogue and serial digital output options are available providing analogue component YCrCb or Composite or S-Video and SDI outputs. The VGA option allows the use of computer type monitors. A genlock input option allows synchronisation with other equipment whilst re-clocked outputs derived directly from each input are also available. Full video bandwidth broadcast quality analogue or SDI output in full screen mode. Channel ident messages are included and a border can be inserted between displays if required. Enhanced idents are possible using the UMD Under Monitor Display option that mimics conventional hardware in monitor stacks. It also allows the unit to be controlled from a text/tally system which passes control of the idents to the routing system. The user can choose from three control options. The front panel option provides 6 momentary pushbuttons that allow the unit to be controlled directly from the front panel. The remote port option provides a method of remote control which emulates the front panel. This provides a very space/cost effective solution to monitoring requirements. |
