FAQ's

?

Do I need a TBC?

!

Unfortunately, as you play your video tapes they become worn. This is due to the mechanical workings of all VCR's. Once degradation of the tape has happened, it is impossible to make a quality copy without using a TBC.
?

Is the DigiBox TCB able to deal with (both input & output) different world standards?

! No - It can accept any world standard & pass it through.  But it will not convert, i.e. input NTSC and output PAL
? What are the extra benefits of having a TBC?

! A TBC will automatically remove any disruptive sync signals or copy protect signals on pre-recorded DVD's or Videotapes, thus ensuring professional style copying onto any DVD-R or VHS format recorder.

?

What is Time Base Error?

!

There are several visual examples - jittering pictures, unstable pictures, loss of sync data, geometrical distortion or bending of the picture, white lines apparent at the top and bottom of your screen.
