Features:
|
![]() |
The RS Pushbutton/Infrared Controller is a serial communications device designed exclusively for remote control of any VX8500 series routing switcher. This single rack-space unit features a single row of front panel pushbuttons with LED indicators for quick and easy remote routing. Audio and video can be routed together or independently. In another mode the RS Remote can recall crosspoint patterns stored in the routing switcher's memory. The RS Remote can operate as a general input device to select any or all crosspoints in a VX8500 Series routing switcher. The RS Remote can also be field configured from the front panel to designate a specific output for button-per-source switching. Routing instructions are sent to the switcher via a DB9 connector on the controller’s rear panel. A male DB9 connector is provided for looping several RS Remotes. |
