4 Channel Audio D/A Converter

The 4776 handles 8 analogue channels (4 AES/EBU signals). Each module has four independent converters, each handling one AES/EBU signal (i.e two analogue audio signals).

The digital connections are arranged directly to match the de-embedder module in pairs of AES/EBU signals.

The D to A utilises 20 bit digital to analogue converters.

The converters sample at 48 kHz for use with the DRX4779 de-embedder modules or when locked to analogue composite syncs. They may also operate at 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz for stand alone use when locked to a suitable AES/EBU reference.
 

The DRX4776 and its connector module occupy one slot in any of the DRX series rack frames.
